Painting to this beautiful piece of classical music was a deeply inspiring experience.
I allowed the emotions and energy of the music to guide my brush, blending elements of intensity and calmness throughout the artwork. The colors and forms flow together, much like the different instruments and melodies within the concerto, capturing the dynamic shifts and harmonies that make this composition so captivating. Through the interplay of dark and light tones, I hope to express the varying moods of the piece, creating a visual symphony on the canvas.
I particularly enjoyed the masterful piano sounds by Mitsuko Uchida, which were powerful yet gentle, like water, carrying the piece with grace and balance.

For this painting I have drawn inspirations mostly from the reflection of nature in the music, the expression of joy upon the arrival of spring, the merriness of gatherings in the first & third sections. What I found particularly interesting was the Sturm/ Storm section, the clouds shadowing the blue sky, and the tension from the thunder, and you can almost hear it in the music how the sky clears up, and the sun shines through.

Commission Painting for a friend
This was a personal commission of a dear friend, as the present for their partner. The major inspiration was from their music project, but I wanted to also capture the tenderness of love through gentle pastel colors
